after cutting up old books to make paper flowers, i realized that the structure of the book closely resembled my wooden windows. i choose each book by the title, which always provokes a specific memory or thought. then, i choose which images & found objects from my collection of treasures go inside. finally, i use led lighting to accentuate specific areas. the lighting also projects a shadow of the window which is equally significant as the objects inside.
